Menton Lemon Tree

The Bignette is one of the “Menton IGP” (Protected Geographical Indication) lemon varieties native to the French Riviera.
Milder than a standard lemon, with subtle aromas even in the zest, the Bignette is the sweetest and juiciest of the Menton lemons.
It ripens early, as early as October, but the fruit can remain on the tree for a long time, allowing for a gradual harvest.

The tree is thorny and fairly compact, with good cold hardiness for a lemon.
This variety can be grown in a pot, in which case the tree remains small,
