Isolated and selected in Nules, near Castellon in Spain, the “Clementina de Nules” is the most cold-hardy of all clementines.
The fruit is fairly large (100 g), easy to peel and very sweet when ripe.
Clementines can be harvested from December onwards, and possibly as late as February if the frost is moderate (limit: -4°C).
The Clemenules clementine is vigorous and very productive, with lanceolate, thornless foliage.
It can be kept in pots with appropriate pruning.
