Harvest
On September 14th, between two stormy periods, the Merlot was quickly harvested.
The sun came out and dried the bunches. Yesterday it rained and tomorrow it will.
The nets protected the bunches fairly well from wasps and birds.
There is a bit of disease, some parts of the bunches have dried out, but not too much.
No harm from the hailstorm in August. This year, it caused havoc in Ticino, but elsewhere this time.
When the grapes are clean, we pick quickly.
15 kilos per case, well filled.
And all this will make Merlot from Ticino.
