A cold-weather lemon par excellence, Citradia is a hybrid of Poncirus and bitter orange, one of many hybrids created by WT Swingle in the early 20th century.
The fruit has a lemon-like taste with aromatic zest and few seeds. These small, flat-bottomed lemons remain on the tree for a long time, slowly losing their acidity as they turn yellow.
The tree remains compact and can be kept in pots if necessary.
