Description

Nameiwa is a hybrid of the two most popular kumquat varieties: Meiwa (round) and Nagami (oval).
The result is a vigorous tree with small round fruits (2 to 3 cm), delicious eaten with the skin.
This is the most cold-hardy kumquat variety, but the fruit remains vulnerable to frost.
Nameiwa is very fast-growing and produces lots of ripe, orange fruit from January to March.
