The Robinson mandarin is a hybrid of the Clementine and Tangelo Orlando created in Florida in 1942 by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture).
Its fruit is a large, flattened mandarin, very juicy, sweet and fragrant, with melting flesh.
The tree is small but highly productive, with an early harvest.
Robinson is one of the most cold-hardy of all mandarin trees.
