The Robinson mandarin is a hybrid of Clementine and Tangelo Orlando created in Florida in 1942 by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture).
\nIts fruit is a flattened mandarin, very juicy, sweet and fragrant, with melting flesh.<\/p>\n
The tree remains small but is very productive, with an early harvest.
\nThe Robinson is among the most cold-hardy of the mandarin trees.<\/p>\n
