Meyer, botanico ed esploratore dell&#8217;USDA (Dipartimento dell&#8217;Agricoltura degli Stati Uniti).<\/p>\n<p>Il frutto \u00e8 grande (oltre 300 g) e sembra un&#8217;arancia gigante con polpa gialla.<br \/>\nLa scorza \u00e8 molto succosa, acida e aromatica. La scorza \u00e8 un condimento eccezionale, usato per secoli come profumo dai cinesi. Il profumo \u00e8 simile a quello dello Yuzu, ma il succo abbondante \u00e8 pi\u00f9 limonoso.<br \/>\nPu\u00f2 essere utilizzato come un limone ma anche cucinato come lo Yuzu.<br \/>\nPer la sua generosa succosit\u00e0, \u00e8 molto apprezzata per marmellate, gelati e dolci. Si raccoglie in autunno.<br \/>\nL&#8217;albero \u00e8 vigoroso, con foglie grandi e lunghe spine.
