Pomelo Marumero

Marumero is a natural Mandarin-Pomelo hybrid from Japan, the most popular Pomelo there..
It’s also known as Kinkonji in Japan and Bloomsweet in the USA.
The fruit is yellow or light orange when ripe, slightly elongated in shape, and both sweet and tart.
It is pleasant to eat fresh or drink as juice.

The tree is moderately vigorous, thorny and rather spreading in shape.
Its leaves give off a spicy, peppery fragrance when crumpled.
