Rome sweet lime

A hybrid of lime and mandarin, the Rome limette is sweet with little acidity when ripe.
The fruits are small with yellow, juicy flesh that has a refreshing taste.
The zest is very mild with a floral aroma that adds interest to cooking.
They can also be harvested before they are fully ripe in September or October and used like lemons.

The shrub is bushy and blooms profusely, sometimes several times a year.
It remains small in size and can be grown in a pot.
